Abstract
<jats:p>The monograph is devoted to the theoretical and applied study of the professional potential of students from the perspective of a value-based approach. The description and approbation of the author's approach to the study of the professional potential of students as a sociological category is proposed, which includes: a methodology of a value-based approach to the theoretical study and empirical diagnosis of professional potential as a social phenomenon; a methodology of value analysis of professional potential formation based on the calculation of an integral indicator of the formation of professional potential of students with an emphasis on "managing" and "managed" the values of their development. It is of interest to scientists, teachers, and specialists in youth policy.</jats:p>
