Abstract
<jats:p>The tutorial outlines the basics of the C++ language, one of the most sought—after and universal programming languages. Due to its efficiency and performance, it is widely used in a wide variety of fields, from the creation of operating systems and high—load server applications to scientific computing. In addition to the basic language constructs and algorithmic structures, the object-oriented features of C++ are discussed in detail, including working with classes, inheritance and polymorphism mechanisms, as well as the use of virtual functions and abstract classes.
