Criminal liability for illegal artificial termination of pregnancy and illegal trafficking of embryos

<jats:p>This monographic study is devoted to a review of certain provisions of Russian and foreign legislation that provide for liability for the illegal production of artificial abortion procedures, as well as the illegal trafficking of human embryos. The objective and subjective signs of the corpus delicti provided for in Article 123 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation are analyzed, the grounds for distinguishing the act from related compounds are indicated, and ways to improve legislation regulating legal relations in this area are outlined. The book is intended for students, postgraduates and teachers of law schools and faculties, researchers, as well as law enforcement officers.</jats:p>
