Abstract

<jats:p>The monograph contains the results of research related primarily to the new scientific vision of the main trends in personnel management. The consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, economic sanctions, and "personnel starvation" are considered as factors in reviewing approaches to personnel policy formation. The vision of demographic sphere management through corporate citizenship of partnership between government, business and society is substantiated; the problems of the global labor market are demonstrated. An interdisciplinary view on the preservation and development of human capital of corporations is presented from the perspective of the international foundations of integrated reporting. A scenario of current and promising concepts of sustainable human resource management is presented, accompanied by indicators of sustainability assessment, contradictions, and interrelationship with the well-being of employees. The scientific presentation of talent management, the evolution of views on ethics in the context of personnel management, the necessity and possibility of management aimed at "loving staff" is substantiated. A detailed description of mental health is given, indicative criteria for its presence, and an explanation of the current mental states of the employee caused by the new reality of employment and inclusion in society. New ways of ensuring working capacity, determined by scientific biology, have been identified. It is justified to use the experience of a planned economy in terms of training, mentoring and employee retention to overcome the shortage of labor. It will be useful for researchers in the field of personnel management, practitioners, graduate students and undergraduates.</jats:p>
