Abstract
<jats:p>The textbook examines the basic prerequisites for the formation of an organization's quality management system (QMS), examines the impact of modern trends in quality management and standardization on the formation of approaches to the development of an organization's QMS. The main provisions, elements and model of the QMS, principles and methods of its formation are disclosed, the content of the sections of GOST R ISO 9001-2015, as well as the main stages of the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of the QMS are reflected.
