Abstract
<jats:p>The article is devoted to the analysis of training of future teachers for preschool educational institutions in the context of modern challenges. The relevance of the stated topic is shown in connection with modern challenges (changing conditions of existence; transformations of the social environment, due to the influence of information technologies; the need to update professional competencies and teaching methods). The difficulties of training teaching staff for preschool educational organizations are revealed (conservatism of educational programs; lack of formation of practical skills; innovative inertia). It is determined that in order to find a worthy response to emerging problems, it is necessary to form a network space; introduce a system of scientific monitoring of educational activities; improve the system of professional retraining; involve teachers in creative activities and form a professional partnership of specialized universities throughout the country.</jats:p>
