Abstract
This book is concerned with EU Administrative law. It is divided into three parts. Part I deals with foundations, containing two chapters, which deal respectively with the history of the EU administrative system and the foundations of judicial review. Part II deals with ‘Administration and Law’, which covers Chapters 3 to 9. The starting point in each chapter is to analyse the particular form of EU administration, and understand the political and legal issues that have shaped the administrative system. Part III is concerned with ‘Law and Administration’, which covers the remaining chapters in the book. The primary focus is on the principles of judicial review as they are applied to EU administration and to national administration when it falls within the ambit of EU law.
